Children's Birthday Packages

Book your birthday with us 07805 222582 and give your child a party they will always remember.

Available 7 days a week, all year round.

Venue – the SPR Bush Craft area in Quarry Wood, Pusey.

Up to 4 hours – minimum 10, maximum 20 children.

Suitable for ages 5 – 16 yrs.

Wild Wood Party

Located in Quarry Wood 10 minutes from Millets Farm.

Why not have your party in our wild wood, complete with badger setts, rabbit warrens, pheasants, deer run, horses and much more.

Only £18.00 per child (from 5 years old)

Meet at our wild wood venue and escort to our bush craft site.

Party Terms & Conditions

This party booking, together with a deposit for 10 children, has secured your date and time. Any extra children over the 10, must be paid, 1 week before the party date.

No additions to your guest list can be made in the week before the party. Numbers cannot be reduced.

If you wish to move your party date, then this must be done, at least 1 week before the party. Should you wish to move it within the week before, then this would incur a charge of £25.00.

Reduction in numbers are unable to be refunded under any circumstances.

If the party cannot go ahead, due to circumstances outside of our control, no refunds will be given, however, we will move your party to an alternative date. We will be unable to refund any non-attendees in any circumstances.

A complete guest list must be provided prior to the party date. Unfortunately we can not cater for allergic customers because we have a small kitchen and all food items have the potential to come into contact with allergic ingredients. We are happy for guests to bring own food based on dietary requirements.

Please turn up at the wild wood, 10 minutes before your party.

You are welcome to bring your own party cake.

All party packages are non-refundable.

Coffee or tea will be available at the party for the adults.

Drinking water will be provided free of charge.

"We booked an SPR Childrens’ party for my daughter’s 8th Birthday for herself and 11 friends. Steve and Jane made sure that the arrangements were tailored to suit my daughter and her friends’ needs for the party. Everything that was to be provided was agreed so we knew exactly what we needed to bring on the day. They were very thorough with health and safety and ensured everyone knew what clothes to wear on the day.

The party itself was very well organised, a lovely tent was provided, beautifully decorated with balloons and banners. Tables were provided to accommodate our food and drink plus hand washing facilities and space for present etc. A nice touch was a little gift and card for our daughter from SPR. There were toilet facilities on site and covered areas in case of rain.

The day was five hours long but the events kept the children entertained and busy for the whole time – and worn out by the end. Parents were also welcome to stay and those who did enjoyed the event as much as the Children! The day started with an important safety brief and a tour of the site. The Children then enjoyed a number of games and activities including Treasure hunt, Seek and rescue a teddy, Den building, Tent construction, Emergency shelter use and a fun game of Musical Emergency shelter (a take on Musical chairs). During the meal break, the children were able to toast marshmallows on the fire – carefully supervised by Steve.

Throughout the whole day Steve and Jane thoroughly explained the activities before they started and gave excellent expert guidance and tuition during each activity. It is hard to find fault with anything other than the gale force wind on the day which even SPR couldn’t control! For a five hour Children’s party it was great value for money and I would thoroughly recommend this Party event from SPR."

Children’s Outdoor Adventure Clubs

Encouraging a child to go outside in all-weather builds resilience, but more importantly it saves them from spending their life merely tolerating the “bad” days in favour of a handful of “good” ones – a life of endless expectations and conditions where happiness hinges on sunshine.

We are pleased to announce that our 2 Outdoor Adventure Clubs will be starting a whole new programme.

The 2 clubs are listed below. These clubs are held at our bush craft site in our wild wood, and provide a mixture of education and fun. Experiences they will always remember. Decision making, teamwork and social skills. Give your child some practical life experience.

DAVID LIVINGSTONE CLUB FOR CHILDREN AGED 6 -11 YEARS

TRAVELLING INTO OUR NATURAL WORLD AND LEARNING HOW TO SURVIVE IN IT. AN INTRODUCTION TO TEAMWORK AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS. COMBINING FUN WITH LEARNING, AND ALLOWING A CHILD TO MAKE GOOD SOUND DECISIONS WITH SOME DIRECTION.

Every Sunday in Quarry Wood from 1100 hrs- 1400hrs

AND every Thursday 1700 hrs-2000 hrs in Quarry Wood

This club will have the chance to take educational trips.

The cost per 3 hour session is £10.00 per participating child

EDMUND HILLARY CLUB FOR CHILDREN AGES 12-17 YEARS

PRESENTATIONS, ACTIVITIES AND VISITS FOR YOUNGSTERS TO ENJOY THE NATURAL WORLD, THUS COMPLIMENTING COMPUTER WORK, WHICH IS A NECESSITY IN LIFE, BUT NOT IN ISOLATION. TOGETHER WITH HAVING FUN, TEAMWORK AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS RISE TO ANOTHER LEVEL, BRINGING THEM TOGETHER TO RESPECT THE NATURAL WORLD AND ITS IMPORTANCE TO THE HUMAN RACE.

Millets Farm Walks

Are you new to walking?A walker recovering from injury?Do you want to get fitter?Then why not start with one of our 3 Millets Farm Walks detailed below.

Walk 1

This is a 1 mile walk around the service track of Millets Farm, and takes approximately 30 minutes. This walk is Free and leaves the SPR Expeditions hut at 1230 hrs every Monday.

Walk 2

This is a 2 mile walk around the Millets Farm service track and includes Phoebe Wood. This walk takes approximately 1 hour and is Free. We leave the SPR Expeditions hut at 1200 hrs every Sunday.

Walk 3

This is a 4 mile circular walk from Millets Farm, taking in the village of Garford, where Millets Farm has its headquarters. We will finish with Phoebe Wood. This walk takes approximately 2 hours. The walk costs £2.00 per person and leaves the SPR Expeditions hut at 1100 hrs every Saturday.You can do these as often as you wish and visit the unseen areas of Millets Farm, whilst taking in some of the local history.If you are interested in any of the above walks, please notify us in advance, by email, at info@spr-expeditions.co.uk or visit us in our shop for
