We provide a qualified mountain and walking group leader to ensure that your experience on every walk is fun, safe and memorable.
Pick from our set programme an expedition which suits you. If you are new to walking, or just want a relaxing break, then why not start with one of our local walks. You could combine a visit to this great County of Oxfordshire with one of our educational booklets. Possibly you may wish to do a low level expedition elsewhere in the country. The New Forest, Beachy Head, The Gower, Jurassic Coast to name but a few. Of course you may wish to visit one of our high level destinations including Snowdonia, The Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, The Lake District or Ben Nevis in Scotland.
Onwards from there, you can start to gain height and walk at high level. Take advantage of our Club Membership and enjoy the training and social activities therein, together with, of course, attractive discounts.

I had an amazing time with Steve and Jane when we visited Dorchester yesterday. It was my first time going on a walking
expedition, and I must say that Steve did a fantastic job! He did his best to help us enjoy our walk. Before the journey, Steve
checked the weather and recommended a change of itinerary due to the cold wind in the afternoon. And during the walk, he
repeated checked on us to ensure that we were alright. The trail we took had lots of interesting things to see and the pace was
comfortable.
Coming from Singapore, I learnt quite a bit about things not experienced in my city - history, culture, wildlife, agriculture and
landscape. Having a good guide who loves his work and great travelling companions definitely made the trip much more enjoyable!
I would recommend SPR Expeditions to anyone who loves to explore nature and would like to do it safely. I'd like to do them again
myself when I'm back in Oxford!
